Jared Boxes
The Jared Box Project is named after a little boy who lost his fight with cancer. A Jared Box is simply a box filled with toys that is given to a child in the Children’s Hospital of Illinois. Here’s how to make a Jared Box:
1. Get a shoebox-size plastic storage box.
2. Choose a gender and age group that the box will be for (male/female ages 0-2, 2-4, 4-8, 8-11, 11-14, 14+). Print out the label and attach it to the box.
3. Fill the box with toys appropriate to the gender and age group you’ve picked. They don’t have to be expensive, a dollar store is a good place to find things. For suggestions, go to http://www.thejaredbox.com/makeAJaredBox.html
4. Decorate the box: make a card or draw a picture and put it in the box.
5. Bring the box to our next meeting or drop it off in the Key Club office.

Jared Boxes
The Jared Box Project is named after a little boy who lost his fight with cancer. A Jared Box is simply a box filled with toys that is given to a child in the Children’s Hospital of Illinois. How to make a Jared Box:
