TCFS Adopt-a-Family
Stay after our meeting today to help us put together easter baskets. It will only take a few minutes!

Cards for Max
Another opportunity directly after our meeting. A 12 year old named Max has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. He has a wish to receive 1 million get well cards. I think each member should stay after and write at least one! It will only take a short while and it’s definitely for a good cause!

Scholarships
There is a $500 scholarship available to St. Charles East students from Kiwanis. See Mrs. Gilmore in guidance to receive and fill out an application.
There are many others available to individual key club members that deal with recognition for outstanding service.

Officers for Next Year
Congrats to Will, Kaitlin and Jeanine, who have been selected as officers for Key Club next year. Thanks to everyone else who applied, we wish we had positions available for you!

Blood Drive
Just a heads up, we’re planning on having our annual blood drive on May 26th. We’re still in the planning process but we’re definitely going to need volunteers to go around asking people to sign up and donate during all lunch hours.

Potential Fundraiser?
On May 21st the auto club is holding its auto show. Would we want to hold a fund raiser during this event to raise money and donate to Spastic Paralysis research? Anyone interested in helping come see us after the meeting.

Service Project Ideas, Managers
Do you have an idea for a service project for our club? If you know of a service project idea through your participation with a church or youth group, another club or sport, the park district, or some other agency and would like to see if other Key Club members could help, then we want to know! You can earn service hours as a project manager and can help expand our club involvement in the community. Simply bring your ideas and a contact name and number to any officer to get your project started.
