Key Club Agenda, 2/1/2011

Key Club Pledge
I pledge, on my honor, to uphold the objects of Key Club International, to build my home, school, and community, to serve my nation and God, and to combat all forces which tend to undermine these institutions.

Service Projects
Valentine’s Day Crush/Salvation Army
Key Club will sell mini cans of Crush Soda with a Valentine’s Day note to be delivered to the sweetheart(s) of your choice on Valentine’s Day. We need 1) volunteers to help sell the sodas/notes, 2) members to help purchase the cans/notes and to encourage friends to do the same, and 3) volunteers who have a study hall to help deliver to classrooms on 2/14! SALE DATES TBD (either during 2/9 late start morning or possibly during lunch hours). So many ways to show your Key Club love! Contact Sarah @ (630) 205-0019

Kiwanis Lunch
If you are interested in attending the Kiwanis lunch during 6th hour on 2/15, see Mrs. Pittenger or Mrs. Hervey.

D-Con, future officers!
If you are interested in becoming a Key Club officer next year or if you just want to learn more about Key Club and have a blast with high schoolers from northern Illinois and Iowa, think about attending the District Convention April 8-10. See an officer or advisor for details.

Living Well Cancer Center
Please bring in baked goods to our next meeting to be donated to Living Well. Each baked good item is worth one service hour. On Tuesday and Wednesday nights students can also help out at the center. Questions? Call Kaitlin @ (630) 999-1123

Brighton Gardens
Come visit with the residents everyday during social hour from 2:30-3:10. Questions? Call Colin at (630) 584-1617.

Delnor-Glen
Come call bingo on Sundays from 2-3 pm, volunteers must be at least 16 to do this. Volunteers are also needed to play music in the lobbies on Saturdays and Sundays (No age limit required) Questions? Call Morgan @ (630) 440-2479

Lazarus House
On February 5th, help is needed at Saint Charles Moose, setting up the “Hearts Support Housing” at 10:00 am. It’s located on Rt. 38 in Saint Charles.
Lazarus House also needs volunteers to help stuff envelopes at the end of the month. We do not have the exact dates right now, but if you sign up Sneha will contact you and get you the information once we find out.
Davis Elementary School
Volunteers are needed to help watch kids in the Kid Corral at Davis while their parents are attending Parent Literacy Night, February 17th. Questions? Call Colin @ 630 584-1617

Heartland Blood Center
WE NEED BLOOD!!
Go to Heartland Blood Center and donate blood for 3 services hours each (one for each life you will save!) It is located in East Gate Commons right by Target. Questions? Call Colin 630 584-1617.
